How To Cope with Stress

Stress has been a constant part of our life since Adam and Eve violated God’s purpose for our lives in the Garden of Eden. It is a constant remainder that we are “fallen” and we have to sweat out inorder to achieve our goals.

Below are some insights I want to share how to cope with stress as a young follower of Christ:

Prayer is an act of communication toward our Almighty Father in Heaven. It is our expression of worship to our maker. The act of praying loosen the shackles of stress in our selves thus leaving the feeling of lightness and comfort. As what the Lord Jesus said in Matthew 11; “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Give Thanks

Christians the most thankful people in the world. As a people who loves the Lord Jesus deeply, we are following his example by giving thanks in all circumstances – bring about the feeling of abundance, happiness and contentment.

Because Christians do not focus on the material things like what to wear (most people tend to be very conscious on what they wear and look for ways to get that my girl dress promotional code for the latest trends) or having the latest gadget to take selfies and chat online and check glasvezel beschikbaarheid with friends; the stress of acquiring them is diminished.

Optimism is the belief focused on the positive. Christians always put their faith in God in all circumstances in their lives. This proved to be a positive behavior because it takes the stress out of your self. The popular saying that “When God closes a door, He opens a window” is common practice among believers.

These are but a few of the things that made me cope and dealt successfully with stress.  I have seen it made me a much better person everyday.  I’m sure many people have a different story to tell, especially when it comes to using heine kortingscode verzendkosten.  Those who are more mature in the faith perceive stress as a test and a challenge.
